September 2023 saw a nice change for us.
We've been to Italy so many times, Eloise thought it would be a nice surprise for Zanders birthday to go somewhere different. He spent several weeks thinking that they were flying to Edinburgh for his birthday and found out at the airport Eloise' plan was to actually go to Budapest.
As soon as we got there, we were so impressed by the sheer size of the city. Budapest is vast with lots of areas that are individual and have their own vibe. As you probably know its split by the huge river Danube. Both sides of the river 'Buda' and 'Pest' are very different to one another and its hard to pick a favourable side. Each are truly brilliant. We had a great tour guide who took us around in a tuck tuck, showing us lots of important and historical sites.
Also, whilst we were there, by chance; we popped our heads into various vintage clothes shops - there are loads! We were shocked how cheap things were and managed to pickup some nice personal pieces along with some pieces for the website and shop.
It's safe to say we will definitely be going back to Budapest soon.
